Closing bell:
Sensex ended at a fresh closing peak of 46,253, up 154 points, or 0.34 per cent while NSE's Nifty ended 44 points, or 0.33 per cent higher at 13,558 levels.
Volatility index, India VIX, gained over 3 per cent to 19 levels.
ICICI Bank, L&T, ONGC, and TCS were among the top contributors to the Sensex's gain while HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries (RIL) were the biggest drags.
Nifty futures have resistance 13750 after crossing this level it can reach up to the level 13870. In the downside nifty futures have support near 13400 after breaking this support it can slip till level of 13150.

In next trading session bank nifty futures have resistance 31010 after crossing this level it can
reach up to the level of 31500.In the downside bank nifty futures has support near 30170 after
breaking this support it can slip till level of 29500.
Global Indices:
US STOCKS - U.S. Futures NASDAQ 100 are up 0.46 % while Dow futures up 0.81 % and
S&P 500 Futures up 0.02%.
European stock markets trading in a positive zone with FTSE up 0.45 and DAX up 1.17%
respectively and all the major bourses in the region trading in positive territory.
